Meet Sloth — the only chicken on the farm who has officially earned herself a name.

One of dozens of chickens at O.G. Farms, Sloth is truly one of a kind. An Aries, she was born with a crooked face and an overlapping beak, which means she has to approach eating a little differently than the rest of the flock. She’s learned to peck sideways — and trust us, it hasn’t slowed her down one bit. If anything, her personality is just as unique as her looks.

As you may have guessed, Sloth gets her name from The Goonies. She shares her namesake’s love of a good adventure and treasure hunt — although instead of searching for One-Eyed Willy’s treasure, she’s usually searching for worms. To Sloth, they might as well be gold. 🪱💰

Sloth is a Buff Orpington, a breed known for being friendly, fluffy, and good egg layers. A productive hen can lay around 300 eggs a year — which is pretty impressive for someone who spends so much of her day scratching around in the dirt.

And one more fun fact: modern birds are living dinosaurs and descendants of theropods — the same group of dinosaurs that included Tyrannosaurus rex.

So underneath all those fluffy golden feathers?
