  • Old Goat Farms (aka, O.G. Farms) is located at 38 Rusk Mountain Road in West Kill, N.Y., in the Catskills.

    We’re 1 minute from West Kill Brewing (just down the road!), 20 minutes from Windham and Hunter Mountain, and 30 minutes from Woodstock,

  • ANIMAL EXPERIENCES
    We are open to the ticketed public during the following hours:

    Spring, Summer & Fall hours
    (Mar - Sep)
    10 am - 5 pm tours
    10 am - 7 pm self-guided


    Winter hours
    (Oct - Feb)
    10 am - 3:30 pm



    THE FARM STORE
    Grand opening in May 2026!
    The farm store will open every day, all year — no appointment required.

  • Yes. General admission is required for animal experiences and events at O.G. Farms. All ticketed visitors are also required to sign a waiver.

    Self-guided tours: Tickets for self-guided tours (i.e., drop-ins) can be purchased in advance or on arrival at the Farm Store. 

    Guided tours, group visits, & photography bookings: Tickets for guided, group, or photography experiences must be purchased in advance on our website.

    The Farm Store is open to all visitors and doesn’t require an admission fee

  • All farm guests must have a ticket to participate in our animal experiences during farm hours.

    Tickets for self-guided tours can be purchased in advance or on arrival.

    All other bookings require advanced purchase on our website.

  • We are huge supporters of dogs!  Our dog policy is:

    1. Service animals: Service animals are permitted as described by the ADA.

    2. Non-service dogs: Well-behaved dogs are permitted outside the fences only and must remain on leash. We cannot allow dogs that upset the farm animals or the other visitors.

    We appreciate your respect and good judgment.

  • Because this is a working farm, we don’t have public restrooms. Thank you for understanding and planning accordingly.

    At this time, the full farm grounds are not wheelchair and stroller accessible. If you require accessibility support, please e-mail us at ogfarmsny@gmail.com. We’ll help you plan a visit that works best for you and your needs.

  • Yes.  Free parking is located at our Farm Store parking lot during visitor hours.

    Please respect our neighbors and do not park road-side.

  • No. Our animals eat special diets.

    Don’t worry! We provide every visitor with a bag of approved treats to feed the animals.

  • No. We are not a rescue and do not accept animal surrenders.

    If you have an animal in need of a new home, please send us an e-mail, and we’ll try to direct you to a reliable organization.

  • At O.G. Farms, we’re inspired by nature’s ability to create fun and simplicity in equal measure. Similarly, our logo — and the farm itself — attempts to represent that blend of fun, clarity, simplicity, and history.

    The colors celebrate the vibrance and tranquility of the local landscape. It’s also a nod to my time at Siena University.
